1. Price Validity
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After this period, pricing may change without notice due to supplier or manufacturer increases. If a quote is accepted after the 30‑day validity period, the order will be subject to the updated pricing at that time.
2. Acceptance of Quote
By accepting this quotation (via the “Accept” button or written confirmation), the customer acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions outlined in this document.
3. Order Placement
To proceed, please confirm your selected Colour and Profile. Once a door is ordered, changes to the Profile or Colour cannot be made, so please ensure your selections are final.
4. Payment
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation. Payment can be made via the link on your invoice or by bank transfer. Overdue fees may apply if the balance is not paid within 24 hours of installation. Please refer to our payment terms for full details.
5. Installation & Scheduling
Installation will be completed within two weeks of us being notified that your door is ready, unless otherwise agreed. Any unforeseen delays will be communicated promptly. Installation dates may change due to weather conditions or supplier delays. JB Garage Doors will notify you as soon as possible if rescheduling is required.
6. Installation Access Requirements
The driveway and garage must be completely clear prior to installation. Customers must ensure the area meets the minimum clearance requirements provided in the installation confirmation message. If the area is not cleared, the installation may need to be rescheduled and additional charges may apply.
7. Power Supply Requirements
A 240‑volt power supply for the automatic opener must be installed by a licensed electrician prior to installation. This work is not included in our quote, and JB Garage Doors is not responsible for electrical supply issues or delays.
8. Cancellation
A cancellation fee of $150 applies if installation is cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled date.
9. Storage
A storage fee may apply for doors held in our possession for more than two weeks after you have been notified that the door is ready, unless otherwise agreed.
10. Warranty
We offer a warranty on both the garage door and the automatic opener. Please refer to our warranty terms for full coverage details and duration.
11. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for the longevity and safe operation of your garage door. We recommend annual servicing. Failure to maintain the door may affect your warranty.
12. Liability
We are not liable for any damage resulting from improper use, neglect, or modifications made to the garage door after installation.
13. Drilling, Fixing & Structural Conditions
All reasonable care is taken during drilling and fixing; however, the company and its installers are not responsible for the failure, cracking, collapsing, or damage of any masonry, rendered surface, or structure from any cause whatsoever during installation. We are also not liable for damage to concealed electrical wiring, gas lines, water pipes, or other hidden services. It is the client’s responsibility to advise us of any known concealed services prior to installation. If concealed damage, non‑standard framing, structural issues, or other unforeseen conditions are identified during installation, additional work may be required. Any variations will be quoted and must be approved before we proceed.
14. Ownership of Goods
All supplied products remain the property of JB Garage Doors until full payment has been received.
15. Council Approvals
Any council approvals required for modifications to the garage structure or facade are the responsibility of the customer.
16. Australian Consumer Law
We’re a family‑owned business and always aim to do the right thing. Our Terms & Conditions work alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here takes away the protections you’re entitled to.
17. Customer Satisfaction
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns or issues, please contact us and we will work to resolve them promptly.
1. Payment Due Date: The balance for the garage door order or service/repair is due upon completion of job unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Install Cancellation: A fee of $150 will be charged if the installation is cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled installation date.
3. Late Payment: In the event of a late payment, a late fee may be applied to the overdue balance as specified in the initial contract.
4. Communication: If a payment is overdue, we will reach out to you to discuss the outstanding balance and agree on a payment plan if necessary.
5. Suspension of Services: Failure to settle the overdue balance may result in the suspension of any additional services or warranties until the payment is made in full.
6. Collection: If the overdue balance remains unpaid after a specified period, we reserve the right to pursue collection through legal means, which may incur additional costs.
7. Credit Reporting: Persistently overdue balances may be reported to credit agencies, which could impact your credit score.
8. Resolution: We encourage open communication to resolve any payment issues promptly and amicably to avoid escalation.
